The Restorative Hope Scholarship Program
Established to assist minority students with purchasing college textbooks, leading the charge to provide financial assistance to graduating seniors facing economic hardship.
We pride ourselves in leading the charge of providing financial assistance to graduating minority high school seniors who are faced with economic hardship and have demonstrated the ability to gain admittance into a college or university. We know many families have been forced to adapt to changing times; we work tirelessly to build hope and resilience in our youth.
As a non-profit organization, we serve as an advocate for our youth. We believe youth are the leaders of today; therefore, we endeavor to provide financial resources and support that foster and build a solid foundation, creating a lasting impact on society.

Since 2019, our textbook scholarship has helped graduating seniors step into college with one less financial barrier.
2026
Ottascia Steer
An active, service-driven student involved in Future Farmers of America, the school play, and Special Olympics volunteering. Through the AVID program, Ottascia completed an internship with the Student Voice Advisory, helping educate teens about the dangers of drug use. A compassionate, outgoing leader committed to improving the lives of others.

Aniyah Smith
A National Honor Society member who excelled academically while serving as a role model to peers: captain of the dance team and an active leader in community service throughout high school.
2024
Mauro Chairez-Jimenez
Earned his Certified Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy licenses through his school's Patient Care Program and now works at Cadia Rehabilitation Center. A student-athlete who ran cross country, wrestled, and performed in two school plays.
2023
Clauddavid Guerrier
A Haitian American transfer student whose love of problem-solving led him to pursue civil engineering. Clauddavid plans to pursue internships and build his professional network before graduating.
2022
Branden Wilmoth
A member of the Track & Field and Football teams who mentored freshmen adjusting to high school and provided community babysitting services. A builder of relationships and a positive role model.
2021
Destiny Voiers
Working two part-time jobs while pursuing her ambition of becoming a dental hygienist, with plans to one day start her own clothing line.
2020
Khalia Hart
Graduated with a 4.174 GPA, was Team Captain of the Lady Highlanders basketball team, and served as a mentor to peers through the Senior AVID class.
2019
Coryn Williams
Ranked 10th in her graduating class, a three-time MVP on the Girls Varsity Basketball Team, and Restorative Hope's inaugural textbook scholarship recipient. Now pursuing Computer Science Education at Temple University.
