Training tomorrow's leaders and healers, today
As our youth become the leaders and healers of tomorrow, we must give them the knowledge, skills, and encouragement to resolve conflict nonviolently, using words instead of fists or weapons.
Conflict, problems, and bullying are not the same
Knowing which one you're facing determines whether mediation can help. This is one of the first distinctions our mentees learn.
A free, community-led mentoring academy
For more than two decades, we have worked tirelessly to empower individuals and groups to resolve intrapersonal and interpersonal conflict in their everyday lives. The Restorative Hope Youth Conflict Resolution Mentoring Program trains a cadre of youth and young adults to facilitate conflict management and resolution training within their own communities.
Youth are also introduced to leadership skills that include effective communication, teamwork, work ethic, dependability, a positive attitude, and self-motivation. As training is entirely free, the academy’s continued success is made possible through funding from supporters like you.
